In 2025, Kepler achieved major milestones advancing real-time optical communications across space, air, and ground. In May, Kepler demonstrated a space-to-ground optical laser link with a Cailabs. In September, in partnership with the Space Development Agency and General Atomics, Kepler completed the first bidirectional air-to-space optical communications demonstration.
