The demand for space-generated data is higher than ever before with exponentially increased downlinking needs from government and commercial sectors globally, creating backlogs and bottlenecks preventing the efficient transfer of data to the earth. Critical increases in space data are a result of improved earth observation imagers, governments requesting more frequent insights to better predict and detect matters of national concern, and an increase in commercial data applications regarding agriculture, forestry, land-use, mapping, and insurance. Product Features

Utilizing Kepler’s global ground station network and regulatory licenses, the Ku-Band Service can rapidly download on-orbit data through a 160 MSPS class software-defined radio and antenna payload easily integrated onto a customer satellite.  The service uses DVB-S2 with adaptive coding and modulation to fully utilize link margin with peak data rates up to 700 Mbps. Our technology can be used in a transparent mode, providing a high-speed link directly to a payload, or, in a ‘store-and-forward’ mode using an onboard computer with 500GB of included storage.
